Actually it starts at 5:00 am! Its called the 'Weckruf'' and is a combination of the church bells for 10 minutes followed by the brass band! Thankfully the wall to wall blue skies and sunshine make up for the rude awakening and the wonderful brass band plays after church too, at a far more civilised hour!
We hear it continues to rain in Spain and that the temperatures in California are lower than here - our hearts go out to all those unfortunates who did NOT spend Easter in Carinthia! My sunburn is testament to how wonderful it has been. Hope it lasts all summer.
Tonight I have given in to spousal pressure and agreed to have Moto GP live on the TV - wonder if we can attract some extra bar guests? There are certainly motorbikes by the hundreds out and about - a welcome early start to the biking season and boding well for the next few months, especially once the scenic routes like the Grossglockner open at the end of May. Our biker bookings are slowly creeping up, as are the bookings from friends and acquaintances from the UK. We are looking forward to seeing some much missed faces!
Happy Easter everyone from John and Ros ! xx
